Well honestly I can say that I have no idea where it went. This has been a real fast year in my eyes. We have continued to keep busy with jobs, family life, and kids stuff. Hopefully next year will be slow enough that I can think straight. I'm sure it won't.
All is well on the home front. Devin is growing up so fast. Is into Bakagun whatever that is ? Still can't quite understand that. Loves to play soccer whenever possible. Keara is growing into a mature young woman and it scares me to death that I have a 12 year old. She loves to babysit and keeps getting more and more jobs lined up. Derek keeps up with his favorite teams but enjoys time with family and in some cases has not even said "No, we can't go do that." when there's a game on. Myself well I'm as always a workaholic and rarely take time out for myself. I will be helping out with the upcoming new hire class starting January 5th and am excited to share my knowledge and give my support. I am so happy I still have a job and even with the many rumors circulating I'm glad that I am only losing benefits and not my job. Some people complain about losing a day of pay but I look at it I'm thankful I have a job and am able to get paid.
Derek's Mom and Dad got moved into their new house on December 13th and most of our time this season was spent helping them...therefore no letters or Christmas cards this year. However, I am so excited for Janice and Dave to have a space that they can finally call their own. Many of you that know me know what I mean by this. I know that it has been a long time coming but I'm glad that they have a nice home to help them start out a new.
My Mom and Dad are hanging in there as much as possible. Life threw them a kink when they had to put our dear "Lassik" to sleep a few weeks before Christmas. My Mom says she would like to go see "Marley and Me" but says she will have to take a whole box of klennex with her. I really don't think so but it definately has been hard for all of us.
My brother and his family is so adorable. I love all the time and cherish it that we get with them. Mac is growing up so much. It was funny the other day Derek made a point that Miles has grown more than any of us since our cruise a few years ago. Pretty funny considering Miles wasn't even conceived.
Well going to go eat I'm hungry.
